HP's see-through screen proposals secure US patent
Hewlett Packard has been granted a US patent for its see-through screen technology.
The firm describes a system to create transparent displays that would allow users to see both the screen's computer graphics and the backdrop of the room or an object behind the device.
Possible uses include navigation data shown on vehicle windscreens and adverts shown on windows.
Samsung is also known to be working on similar technology.

This project is located in Riyadh city on the northern circular road directly behind Fahd Crown Hotel (King Khalid International Airport road) on total surface area of 15,270m2 and total building surface area of 29,317m2. This project consists of 11 floors, 1 underground floor used for car parking, a main kitchen, and service rooms. This project contains 133 hotel units and 196 parking areas. The ground floor contains a multi-purpose hall, men health club, women health club with an external private entrance, a businessmen centre, external shops, training halls, in addition to the hotel administration offices. There are also private villas with private separate entrances attached to the ground floor, in addition to the lobby and reception area, and waiting longues attached to an internal garden.
