The Victoria Falls or Mosi-oa-Tunya
The Victoria Falls or Mosi-oa-Tunya (Tokaleya Tonga: the Smoke that Thunders) is a waterfall located in southern Africa on the Zambezi River between the countries of Zambia and Zimbabwe.

For us mere mortals this appears as absolute insanity. How can someone climb such incredibly difficult faces without a rope? If you’re still intrigued, I highly recommend the 15-minute special 60 minutes did with Alex

The Inverted Tower - Sintra, Portugal
An underground tunnel with a spiral staircase, supported by carved columns, down to the bottom of the well through nine landings. The nine hole round landings, separated by fifteen steps, evoke references to Dante's Divine Comedy, and may represent the nine circles of hell, paradise, or purgatory.
The well is connected to laberíticas caves that lead to a spooky garden surrounded by a lake.
The land that is now Quinta da Regaleira had many owners through time. But in 1892 it belonged to the Barons of Regaleira, a family of rich merchants from Porto, when it was purchased that year by Carvalho Monteiro for 25,000 réis. Monteiro wished to build a bewildering place where he could gather symbols that would reflect his interests and ideologies. With the assistance of the Italian architect Luigi Manini, he designed the 4-hectare estate with its enigmatic buildings, believed to hide symbols related to alchemy, Masonry, the Knights Templar, and the Rosicrucians. The architecture of the estate evokes Roman, Gothic, Renaissance and Manueline architectural styles. The construction of the current estate commenced in 1904 and most of it was concluded by 1910.

Ineresting!! China Drive-In Car Museum
3GATTI Architecture Studio of Rome and Shanghai have won a competition to design a drive-in automobile museum in Nanjing, China. An external concentric ramp allows visitors to drive around the exterior of the museum in their own car, past the exhibits, to a roof-top car park. Chief architect Francesco Gatti compares the experience to a “safari” because the visitor, as a motorist, is an exhibit himself. As visitors reach the summit, they can leave their car, walk down the inner spiral ramp, and check out all the exhibits. Once they reach the ground floor, they can take an elevator and return to their car on the roof, or a chauffeur will bring it down for them.

An ice bridge, kayakers in a Kenai Fjords National Park glacial lake
An ice bridge towers over kayakers in a Kenai Fjords National Park glacial lake. Water is everywhere in the smallest of Alaska's national parks—the land challenges the sea with talon-like peninsulas and rocky headlands, while the ocean itself reaches inland with long fjords and hundreds of quiet coves and bays.
